Chris Peppler joined Library Services Branch in 1982, as manager of the Branch's office in Prince George. Following a ten-month stint as Acting Director in 1987-88, he managed the Branch's regional offices in Cranbrook and Prince George until 1990, when he was transferred to Victoria. Chris is currently serving a two year appointment as Director of the Public Library Services Branch. Prior to joining the Branch, he worked for twelve years in county libraries in Ontario, including ten years as Chief Librarian of the Frontenac County Library. Chris has B.A. and M.L.S. degrees from the University of Western Ontario and a Diploma in Public Administration from the University of Victoria. Chris is married and he and Lynne live in Oak Bay.
