At the Annual General Meeting, BCLTA recognized the contributions of a three outgoing Board members for their commitment and contribution to our organization and public library service in BC.  All three are passionate public library advocates.

Sally Gibson, served on the Executive for five years, including two years as President,  and was instrumental in bringing to fruition a number of education and training programs for BCLTA.  Locally Sally served on the Boards for North Vancouver City, then North Vancouver District Public Library.

Dr. Alan Newberry from Surrey Public Library, served on the Executive for three years.  Alan contributed in many ways to our organization – most notably in the area of advocacy and the re-establishment of the position of Executive Director.

Dianna Seaton, from the Greater Victoria Public Library Board, also ended her term on the BCLTA Executive.  Thank you to Dianna for her dedication to BCLTA, willingness to contribute to the group and new ideas.
